I was out walking in beautiful fall weather in rural western New England this morning and, in pursuit of how to wear the belted plaid/great kilt/féileadh an bhreacáin/féileadh mór more practically, I simply brought the above-the-belt (the "plaid") part of the garment in front of me and secured it. A very useful trick for my pursuits!
