Coach Bartzokas's men have now won five in a row. Olympiacos Piraeus grabbed a narrow 91-94 victory over Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv at Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Round 10 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. The visitors started strong and led 24-29 heading into the second quarter, but Maccabi responded with a 13-0 run to secure a 53-42 cushion at halftime. Yet, Olympiacos tightened up its defense, outscored Maccabi 10-28 in the third and maintained its lead to secure its fifth consecutive victory. The Reds improved to 7-3, while Maccabi dropped to 3-7.
Sasha Vezenkov led all scorers with 21 points and Evan Fournier netted 20. Nikola Milutinov paired his 11 points with 8 rebounds, with Nigel Williams-Goss and Luca Vildoza scoring 10 each. Jaylen Hoard paced Maccabi with 20 points, Levi Randolph netted 15, Roman Sorkin had 13 and Tamir Blatt added 12.
