SB 14 Vote Fallout – The vote to ban transition-related care for transgender children fell largely along party lines, with Republicans in support, Democrats in opposition. But one House Democrat drew a lot of attention when she took to the front microphone to explain why she planned to vote for the bill. Since then, Rep. Shawn Thierry has been rebuked by members of her own party, and is now facing a challenger in next year’s primary.
