New London’s first seven batters scored to establish an early lead as the Whalers beat Windham 13-8. Derrel Mitchell went three for four with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored, and Isiaah Plaza was two for three with a triple and three runs scored. Jack Valliere hit a double and a triple, driving in two for Windham.
