Hello, I’m ISD Superintendent Dr. Dale Herl. I know the coronavirus is at the top of everyone’s minds. Thank you for your understanding as we all work through this difficult time. The decision to close our schools was not an easy one. It weighs on me knowing that this will put a heavy burden on our families but ultimately we made the decision based upon new information Sunday from local and state health officials. You can find information about grab and go meals available to our students for pick-up as well as supplementary educational offerings on our website isdschools.org. School work provided by the ISD will not be required but we want to offer you every resource we can throughout this closure. We will continue to provide updated information on our website at ISDschools.org. There you will find learning resources grouped by grade level with a focus on ELA and Math. This is an unprecedented situation, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to support our students, families, and staff throughout the closure. Thank you and take care.
