I got up, messed around, and got to the creek after the temps were on the verge of snowmelt. I thought there was NO WAY I was going to catch anything! So, the first place I went to the bite was slow, but I started picking up some trout in smaller sizes, 7-12", approx. Nevertheless, I was very excited to finally be catching something! So after the biting kind of quit, I jumped in the truck and took a short trip upstream to a spot I love to fish to see if it was still covered with ice, driving by I noticed it was OPEN! I jumped into the stream and caught a 21" F and a chunky 20" F Brown Trout!
WOW, What a DAY!!!
