Zelensky makes shock admission about North Korean troops fighting against Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday that North Korean troops are suffering heavy losses in Russia's Kursk region.
"They re suffering many losses. And we see that the Russian military and North Korean supervisors are not interested in the survival of these Koreans at all," Zelensky said in his daily briefing.
He also stressed that "the Korean people should not lose their people in battle in Europe" urging the country's neighbours, including China, to put pressure on Pyongyang.
The Ukrainian leader also expressed gratitude to the U.S for imposing sanctions on Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder of Georgia’s ruling political party.
