Quietly rising from bed, I swiftly made my way to the kitchen, ready to prepare the accompaniments for our evening indulgence. I found this moment to be truly beautiful. Before my child woke up, I was already happily immersed in my own little culinary world.

Taiwanese Pickled Cabbage RECIPE
Serving for 2 people:
🥄INGREDIENTS
Cabbage, about 300~350g
Garlic, 5 cloves
Red chili pepper, 1
Green chili pepper, 2
🥄Seasoning sauce
Japanese soy sauce, 1 tbsp
Vinegar, 2 tbsp
Granulated sugar, 2 tbsp
Salt, 2 grams
Cold-pressed olive oil, 1 tbsp
Sesame oil, 1 tbsp
🥄INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Slice the garlic; cut the red and green chili peppers into diagonal pieces.
2. Wash the cabbage with water, then rinse it again with filtered water and drain. Tear the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
3. After drying the cabbage, place it in a zipper bag.
4. Add the garlic, red chili peppers, green chili peppers, and all the seasonings.
5. Shake the bag, then squeeze out the air and massage for 1 minute.
6. Refrigerate in the refrigerator.
7. After 6 hours, it's ready to enjoy.
⭐ TIPS
This recipe has a mild flavor. If you prefer it spicier or saltier, feel free to adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
It can be stored in the refrigerator for 2~3 days.

Japanese Ginger Pork (Shogayaki) RECIPE
Serving for 2 people:
🥄INGREDIENTS
Sliced pork belly, 300g
Onion, half
Scallion, a little
White sesame seeds, a little
🥄Seasoning sauce
Minced ginger, 1 tbsp
Soy sauce, 3 tbsp
Mirin, 2 tbsp
Rice wine, 2 tbsp
Salt, a little
Sugar, 1/2 tbsp
🥄INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Grind the ginger into a paste.
2. Take a large bowl and add all the seasonings, mix well.
3. Add the sliced pork belly to the mixture.
4. Marinate until the seasonings are fully absorbed by the pork slices, set aside.
5. Slice the onion; chop the scallion into small pieces.
6. Heat oil in a pan, add the onion, and stir-fry until slightly caramelized.
7. Add the marinated pork slices and stir-fry.
8. Once the pork is cooked, sprinkle with white sesame seeds and chopped scallion, then serve.
