In this video, New Way Air Bearings illustrates a longer and larger air bearing linear stage technology. The 350 lb air bearing stage has a 200 inch (5.1 m) travel, and achieves 0.5 g acceleration to a speed of 3 m/s over 5.1 m of travel. The load capacity at 80psi input pressure is 1000lbs. The bearing provide silent and smooth motion. This new technology allows for unlimited travel lengths.
