You can check the status of your ticket online by logging on to the Department of Finance at NYC.gov.
Just enter the ticket information or your license plate number.
You can find out how much you owe, or whether a ticket is in judgment.
If you can't find your ticket online, don't panic. A printed ticket's status is usually available within four days and a handwritten ticket can take up to 3 weeks to be posted!
Not contesting the ticket? Just use a major credit card to pay the fine online.
Find it, pay it and forget it.
