Prime Minister Modi is anticipated to lay the cornerstone for a Veer Savarkar-named college in Najafgarh as well as two new Delhi University campuses in East and West Delhi. The Savarkar College would be built at a cost of ₹140 crore as part of the project, which was accepted by the DU Executive Council in 2021. The Prime Minister has been invited by the university, and confirmation is still pending.
