Will Paul is the Public Policy lead for Small Business, Payments, and Hardware at Block, representing interests across the Square, Cashapp, Bitkey, and Bitcoin Mining businesses. An experienced public policy thinker, specialising in developing, influencing, and implementing trade, economic, and innovation policy, Will joined Block in June 2023 from HM Treasury in the UK, where he was the Head of Trade Negotiations, overseeing HMT input to the UK's Free Trade agenda - including deals with Australia, New Zealand, and CPTPP.
