Except the South Korea’s performance in 2002 world cup, their world cup records are not that good & there’s no many star players in Asia compared to the other countries such as Brazil, Portugal, Spain, France, England, Germany etc. However, football is the most popular sport in majority of Asian countries & the matches played between countries such as Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc. gets a huge attention among the crowds.
