Kuala Lumpur City Gallery (KLCG) is strategically located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s heritage enclave – Dataran Merdeka (Merdeka Square), fronting the 100-metre flagpole where the Union Jack was lowered, and the Malayan flag raised for the very first time. This enclave, protected under the Conservation & Heritage Protection Board, is a must-visit heritage destination. It houses many historical buildings, structures and icons that date back to more than a century.
In the evening the Merdaka Square is beautifully lit up and make it a point to visit this iconic place when you visit Kuala Lumpur.
We loved KLCG for: The iconic I Love KL sculpture, KL Reflection which provides 9 selfie points and the light and sound show. You can easily spend half a day visiting this gallery!
