After a long day of relentless and at times torrential rain, we awaken in O'Porrino to glorious sunshine! We are immediately struck by the number of Pilgrims and we learn of two Mainers either ahead of us or behind us. We are within 100km of Santiago now and the most popular paths for Peregrinos without a lot of time are these, 100km, which "qualify" you for a Compestelo upon arrival. The views are spectacular and the villages delightful. We are seeing many familiar faces now and lots of both "fresh" walkers-those just starting for the 100km journey- and lots of limping. In Redondela we do laundry, we explore this wonderful little city and we stay at the lovely A Case de Herba. A glorious day.
