Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams, who has been excluded from high-level meetings with US, Irish and British officials because the Irish Republican Army resumed violence, said in New York on Thursday his party still believes in a negotiated peace despite the end of the cease-fire. Adams, who is in the United States for a weeklong visit, spoke to the Overseas Press Club.
