This DP male to HDMI female converter can be a life-saver in cases when, for example, you want to connect your Displayport monitor to your HDMI laptop, or vice versa.

In my case I wanted to use a multi monitor docking station, which had a Displayport as one of its monitor ports, while both of my screens had HDMI ports, so this DP to HDMI adapter came to the rescue and I was able to achieve my triple monitor setup.

The DP converter transmits both audio and video. It is pretty small and lightweight. It’s made from plastic and has a gold-plated pin connector, which allows resolution of up to 1080P@60Hz.
