Ideal Heating Logic Max Whistling sounds from the boiler. Brand new boiler, installed 7 months ago. It is making whistle sound when heating system is on. It doesn't make any noise when only water heating is on.
The Solution
============
Call Ideal Heating support to arrange for the replacement of faulty component. If it is out of warranty then call a certified engineer to get it fixed.
Temporary Fix (relief)
==================
Temporary solution (rather relief) is to turn down (rotate left) or turn up (rotate right) the central heating temperature knob and it will stop whistle sound for a while but it may be back again after some time. In my case it gives me relief from few minutes to few hours. I've observed that turning up the temperature beyond or around "e" mark holds up longer but again it is random and can't be guaranteed.
If that doesn't give you temporary solution then switch off boiler completely and wait for some time before turning it on again. This may also give some temporary relief but the whistling noise may be back again in which case go back to turning up or down the temperature knob as I explained above.
Is it safe to keep boiler on?
======================
Reply fro Ideal Heating Support: "Yes the boiler has a safety mechanism on, if the boiler will just stop working altogether."
Freaking boilers always break down in the weekends for some reason. Will check with Ideal support for fixing this issue. Let's see how it goes on Monday.
