As part of our special programme to mark International Day of People with Disabilities we set a challenge for Guernsey's Chief Minister to experience for himself the high street as a wheelchair user.
A survey commissioned by ITV Channel Television showed that Channel Islanders with disabilities found shops in town and on the high street to be the most difficult spaces to access.
