John teaches entering into Pincha Mayurasana and performing Karandavasana. In this short video John Scott, a senior Ashtanga teacher shares his insights on how to assist a practitioner performing Pincha. In particular, the action of the legs flicking to get momentum to be able to lift the arms to land into Chaturanga. The video is part of a series shot by Santiago Pinto Doublet during John¨s retreat in Yoga in Salento assisted by Julia Scott and Sandra Howling. Karandavasana is part of the second series known as Nadi Shodana part of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system.
