MONTGOMERY COUNTY -- Ohio Attorney General along with local sheriffs announced a successful seizure of money and cocaine Monday morning.The Bulk Cash Smuggling Task Force is made up of the Ohio Attorney General's Office, Homeland Security, along with Montgomery and Warren County sheriffs.The task force seized more than a quarter million dollars and nearly 50 pounds of cocaine.Last week, Cesar Anguiano, 35 was arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs and possession.Authorities say they witnessed him exchange 33 pounds of cocaine for $300,000 in cash.Anguiano was arrested after a traffic stop and was placed in the Montgomery County Jail.Mark Walker, 40, was arrested last Wednesday from his Haney Drive home in connection with the investigation. There they seized 15 more pounds of cocaine and $20,000 in cash.Attorney General Mike DeWine sags the goal of the task force is to scare away drug cartels where it hurts the most.This task force has taken close to two million dollars in the last seven months out of circulation. That was money going back to Mexico, he said.Authorities also have a warrant out for Gonzalo Anguiano, 24, after he ran off after being pulled over during a traffic stop.The Task force was formed in September 2013. In that time, they have seized drugs with a total estimated street value of more than $7.6 million.Those drugs include:Heroin: 19 lbs.Marijuana:1,146 lbs.Oxycodone: 800 pillsMethamphetamine: 25 lbs.Crack Cocaine: 90 gramsCocaine: 51 lbs.
