How do I make the perfect pour over coffee at home? Simple. Follow these three basic principles to great amazing coffee every time and realise that making coffee at home doesn't have to be expensive or challenging.
In this video we used the "can't get you off my grind" coffee by Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters.
I used a 1:17 brew ration here. After much deliberation and testing, I simply started with the amount of water that I required and based my recipe on that. 320g of water = 18g of ground coffee. This resulted in the flavour notes literally popping out of the cup and giving me literally, the best tasting coffee I have made for a very long time. The grind was a coarse grind using the Niche Zero Coffee Grinder
I have not always used a specific brew recipe when making coffee at home, but it is true, when you respect the ingredient that you are using, you get the very best from it!
