Two personal bests were had this day and a bit of a scare from a near by fin that cruised by!
The bigger ling was in less than 10' of water sitting right out in the open! The reason this meaty ling was even found was trying to show new divers we met at the parking lot how to hunt for scallops! This seems to say that a little pay it forward can yield a payment in itself!
It was Keener’s first dive back since his back injury on Sept 22, 2021, and this was one epic dive for the books! Super grateful for the motor on the kayak since paddle hurt the back quite a bit.
