Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes says voters may “start to review what their vote has done” when they “see how ineffective these teal members are”.
She said Labor governing in a majority will mean the “teal independents and their views will not be required to ensure that the Labor party can govern in the House of Representatives.
“I think for the country that is actually a good thing,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
