It took some work with the Remington 700 VTR and the handloads to make this a sub-MOA rifle. The barrel was free-floated and the trigger was adjusted for the lowest pull weight. The scope I am using is the UTG 8-24x50 which is under $200 but has performed very well. I am hand loading with Hodgdon BL-C2 and have tried Nosler and Hornady bullets in different weights. The VTR seems to like the Hornady AMAX 155grs bullet the best and is the most consistent performer.
