Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca track day with NCRC. My first day since the track was repaved. I had not driven Laguna since about 10 months prior where my PB was 1:41.51.
I was very cautious at the beginning of the day not sure what the new surface would bring with grip. Tires make a bit more noise and if you aren't used to hearing them make that much noise it throws you off a little. The crest of turn 1 is a bit different and the upset that's normally there is a bit more now. Apparently the day before they shaved a little off the crest due to complaints.
