After being suspended for over five months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, metro services resumed in the country on Monday in a graded manner with all safety measures in place to check the spread of coronavirus. Complying with the Centre’s Unlock 4 guidelines, metro authorities in Delhi, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Noida, Ahmedabad had announced the resumption of their services from today in a calibrated manner. The metro services have been suspended since March when the lockdown was first imposed across the country in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
