#CanIFreezeIt? #Shorts #Cookies
In this #Shorts I'll answer the question, cookies - Can I Freeze It?
I'll show you how to freeze, store and then use your cookies so you can avoid them ever going to waste!
So, Cookies - Can I Freeze It?
🥳 Yes indeedy!
🍪 Whether you have a surplus of shop-bought or homemade cookies, they can indeed be stored in the freezer.
❄️ Depending on what sort of cookie it is, it won't 'freeze' as such, but the cold of the freezer will preserve it regardless.
😋 The best part about this is that in most cases, you can enjoy your biscuits straight from the freezer - just be sure to mind your teeth if it has frozen particularly hard (dipping it in a nice hot coffee or a cup of tea is a good way to save your teeth!).
❗ If you will be storing your cookies for a while (particularly homemade ones), you may like to wrap them individually in heavy-duty foil to protect them, but I don't find this to be particularly necessary.
👩🍳 You can also freeze cookie dough, ready to be cooked straight from frozen. Simply search online for 'freezer cookie recipes'
🔥 If you are reheating a cooked cookie from frozen, pre-heat the oven to around 150C (300F), then pop them on a lined tray for around 5 to 10 minutes.
📆 Cookies are best eaten within a month of freezing, but will be fine to eat after this, the quality will just reduce the longer they are stored!
