The first race of the cyclocross season was a baptism of fire, as I was jumping straight into the Hope UCI cyclocross series, having been on holiday for 2 weeks. Prior to the race my body and legs were not ready for such a brutal pace.

The race was full gas from the gun, and although I didn't compete in this one there are still plenty of positives to take from a good start, plus I was also feeling comfortable with my technical skills. A lot to take forward and work on as we move into the thick of the season.
