After a long week of riding this was the last stop on our trip and with other areas being unrideable due to rain (that southern clay is no joke) the locals said Sharps ridge handles the rain quite well. So while it was moist it was still rideable and the laps got better and better as the sun dried the trail out and we became familiar. While not really a destination for an all day epic it's definitely worth the visit to lap a ridiculously good trail built by New England master trail builder Knight Ide.
