The European Union's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, has strongly rejected accusations of antisemitism against the International Criminal Court's prosecutor, Karim Khan. Borrell called the accusations "completely not acceptable" and emphasized the importance of respecting the work of the ICC.
The ICC prosecutor had requested arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity. Netanyahu responded by labeling the request "a new form of antisemitism.".
Borrell also urged the implementation of the International Court of Justice's ruling, which ordered Israel to halt its military action in Rafah. Despite this, Israel continues its offensive, resulting in numerous civilian casualties, including the killing of at least 35 people in a refugee camp on Sunday.
