In this video, I’m upgrading my new jobsite table saw to boost precision and get cleaner, more accurate cuts. I’ll start by swapping the factory multi-material blade with a fine woodworking blade and testing both blades on softwood and hardwood to see the difference in cut quality. Then, I’m upgrading the mitre gauge with a metal one that fits perfectly in the slots and has positive stops for repeatable, accurate angle settings. Finally, since the manufacturer hasn’t released a zero-clearance insert yet, I’ll show you how I use zero-clearance tape as a temporary solution to reduce tear-out and keep small fragments from falling into the saw.
