The Pichavaram Mangrove forest is a nice relaxing day trip from Pondicherry or Chennai. This is once the setting of some well-known movies as well as the past home of some rishis and stories of Shiva. But I took a short trip from Pondicherry on my bike and was very happy to take a row boat into the mangroves. I learned so much about the ecosystem here and in the video I share what I learned.
