This short video quickly demonstrates how to take the Weber S-320 and several other Weber barbecue models apart, remove the parts of the ignitor assembly and replace the parts of the grill that make up the battery controlled igniter.
The module, electrode, collector box, switch, battery and electrode wires are removed and replaced in this short video which also demonstrates how to test the module to ensure everything works properly.

This particular ignition design is evolutionary interesting because Weber has a reliable battery-controlled ignitor module complete with a ground installed to the electrode. The collector box is all ceramic so we do not get the same dirt, corrosion, rust that stopped previous igniters from properly lighting the Weber Barbecues.
This ignition system works on the S-320 shown here but also the Genesis E310, EP-31-, S310, EP models, S models, 320 models, 330 Weber models and Spirit Models.
