Hey all in this video we are going to do a little experiment wet ashing some thick Flat Pack IC chips. I have done this before on this thin flat packs and on BGA chip tops, but I have never tried it with the thicker types of chips, so lets see what happens. What we are going after here are the 24K gold bond wires that are locked up inside the black plastic that covers the silicon chip that is inside.
