Election Day 2020 is quickly approaching, and your vote matters. Make sure your voice is heard by taking action before key dates:
Deadline to register: Monday, October 5
First mail-in ballots sent out: Tuesday, October 6
Early voting begins: Tuesday, October 6
Deadline to request a ballot by mail: Saturday, October 31
Early voting ends: Monday, November 2
Election Day: Tuesday, November 3
I am not a voter. How do I register?
Registering to vote is quick and easy! Go to the Ohio Secretary of State website and fill out the online form before Monday, October 5.
How do I request a mail-in ballot?
Voting from home can give you peace of mind as you balance your daily responsibilities. Safely vote from home by visiting the County Board of Elections website and requesting a Vote-by-Mail Application.
You can request a ballot by mail until Saturday, October 31 – but do not delay. Ensure your ballot is counted by requesting a ballot early, filling it out early, and returning it early!
What is early voting?
Cuyahoga County offers early voting for residents beginning October 6, 2020. Visit the Board of Elections at 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115 during designated hours to cast your ballot in-person.
Are we still allowed to vote in-person?
Yes! Cuyahoga County is committed to providing a safe environment for all residents who want to cast their vote at their normal polling place. We encourage you to avoid potential lines on Election Day by taking advantage of other options, but in-person voting will take place.
