If you want to set Custom White Balance for video in Canon R7 or R6 please follow these steps:
- Go to the photo mode and take a picture of a gray card or a white object
- Switch back to Video mode
- Navigate to "Custom White Balance" in Red Menu Tab 3, press SET button on your camera
- The picture which you took will appear on the screen (it will have a red CWB icon in the top left corner)
- Press SET, then OK to confirm the picture
- Press OK again to set the CWB
- Go to Quick Control Menu and tap on the White Balance icon
- Choose Custom White Balance and go back to your main screen
- Your CWB is set
Personally, I keep the Custom White Balance tab on the top of the green "My Menu 1". This way I can access it faster when needed.
