This video was taken with a GoPro Hero 3+ on board the SA Agulhas II on the south bound journey to the ice shelf. The wind picked up quite fast that morning and it resulted in 12m swells. Note the rolling of the ship from side to side while literally falling off the waves. The G forces were quite bad. When the ship "climbs" a wave, you are forced towards the floor and for most part cannot move, and when the ship falls off the other side of the wave, you hover in the air for a while. This repeating routine tires you very quickly! Remember to watch in HD.
