All lanes of the inner loop of Interstate 485 were closed near Interstate 77 Friday afternoon after a crash.
The closure, which started at 3:44 p.m., happened at mile marker 23 after a wreck happened. All lanes were closed at exit 23 through exit 26, causing miles of traffic backup. The road reopened just before 5 p.m.
