The Bay was firing for the second day in a row (March 19) on what later turned out to be the Swell of the Decade (March 21st) which peaked on the 4th day of swell 🥵
Everyone was warming up an, as the day progressed, more and more 'weekend warriors' got into the water. Hard to blame them, but the main danger quickly shifted from the dredging barrels to dodging boards and avoid getting burnt. The following days, the Bay turned on its self-regulation mechanism and put on its intimidating face to thin out the crowd and elevate performances 🚀
