The Union flag was raised to full mast over Buckingham Palace and Downing Street in London on Sunday as the period of mourning for Prince Philip ended.
Britain entered a state of national mourning when the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, was announced on 9 April.
Union flags were flown at half-mast over government offices, royal households, military buildings and over British embassies across the world.
