A lot of you think you need a professional marketing agency or some lead gen expert to get more leads. But you're dead wrong. The real problem isn't getting leads-it's turning those leads into actual clients.
Here's the thing: a lot of you think you're in the AI automation business, but you're not. You're actually in the business of customer engagement and service. Think about it-what's the best use case for AI right now? It's not about fancy tech; it's about solving real problems like sending out reminders, answering FAQs, replying to customers, and following up with leads on time.
The same goes for email marketing. If you run an email marketing business, you're not really in the "email" business. You're in the lead gen business. Email is just one of many tools to get leads. Once you start seeing your work through the lens of what result you're delivering, you'll realize you've been looking at it all wrong. Your customers don't care about AI, email marketing, or whatever tech you're using. What they care about is this: Can you get the job done for the money they're paying you?
Now, let's put it in perspective. Say I'm an Uber driver, and my car breaks down. I take it to a mechanic. Am I going to ask them what tools they're using or whether they're following some specific process? Hell no. I don't care about any of that. I just want my car fixed. That's it.
When someone has a big problem-something critical like their livelihood-it's all about the end result. The tools, pricing, or process? Those things are secondary. Whether you use Klaviyo for emails, VAPI for voice agents, or something else, it doesn't matter. What matters is whether you can deliver the solution they need.
Stop overcomplicating it. Focus on solving their problem, delivering results, and making it happen. That's all your customers care about.
