Scotland isn't the first place that comes to mind when you think of quality surfing destinations, but there are plenty of very good setups dotted all along its coastline. The main drawback is that during the most favourable months of the year - Winter - the water temperature drops to as low as 7°C, and is often accompanied by a Baltic wind.
There's been some significant activity in the North Atlantic recently, which lit up this hollow righthander located right at the top of Scotland's North Coast. We enjoyed a few clean days of waves until the storm got too localised and blew out the whole area.
We have more good footage from this spot, so expect another edit soon!
