Take a sneak peek at how Alexey warmed up the day before his big no-fins dive at the 2024 CMAS World Championship!
On October 9th, 2024, World Champion freediver Alexey Molchanov dived to 93m (305ft) powered only by arm and leg strokes at the CMAS 8th World Championship Freediving Depth in Kalamata, Greece. While Alexey’s official personal best in Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) is 100m (328ft), this performance is particularly impressive because of the water temperature - a cool 24°C (75°F) at the surface to a biting 12°C (54°F) at depth. It’ll take more than chilly water temperatures to stop Alexey from getting a white card!
