Nearly two months after charges were first filed against two Rockville High School students accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in a school bathroom, the case has hit a dead end. The case caught the attention of the White House and Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan in the debate over immigration and sanctuary cities. The case became a rallying cry for supporters of tough immigration enforcement.
