Residents of Mwiki , Githurai, Mwirigo, Clay City, Maji Mazuri, Kwangura, Mwihoko and Kasarani never had a clear access road despite this areas been connected together. A new access road has been constructed from Kasarani-Mwiki road at St. Francis Hospital cutting down Githurai River all the way to Githurai Railway station at the intersection to Mwihoko Road. The scenic link road is a major boost to the economies of these towns and residents at large.
