Peruvian and Japanese archaeologists have discovered the ancient remains of a pre-Hispanic ancestor worship site in northern Peru. Excavations at the archaeological site of Terlen-La Bomba in Cajamarca have uncovered burial chambers, human remains, and ceramic offerings of an ethnic diversity with an antiquity of between 800 to 1000 years AD.
According to the research, the site would be one of the largest settlements in the area.
