Ben Chonzie MTB. Mountain Biking Scotland. Come along with me as I take on the challenge of mountain biking up Ben Chonzie, a Scottish Munro. We'll be using a DJI Mavic Air to capture the stunning views from the mountain summit. Get ready for an unforgettable mountain biking experience in The Scottish Highlands! This really is a wonderful mountain biking trail to the summit of the munro. The actual mtb trail to the top is nearly all rideable and a very enjoyable experience. This is Stage 3 of the adventure and includes some really fast downhill mtb from the summit. The drone video was filmed with a DJI Drone Mavic Air 2. The action cam footage was filmed with a GoPro Hero8 black. Ben Chonzie, or Ben-y-Hone is the highest point in a vast area of wild land between Loch Tay and Strathearn. The mountain is 3,054 ft (931m). The views from the summit are tremendous in every direction. To the north west the Ben Lawers range stands out proudly; in the north east the hills of Atholl; southwards to the dark ribbon of Loch Turret (almost 2,000 ft below) and beyond are the Ochils and Lomond hills. There is a weird GoPro effect happening during the earlier stages of this descent. At times it looks as if I am going slightly uphill but I can assure anyone watching that it was downhill all the way and great fun. Apart from my hands cramping up which was a real pain !

Ben Chonȝie, also known as Ben-y Hone (Gaelic Beinn a' Chòinnich, meaning "mossy mountain"), is a Scottish mountain situated eleven kilometres northwest of Crieff. It stands at 931 m (3054 ft) and is therefore listed as a Munro.
