Bird cages are made of bamboo in a traditional craft village in Vietnam. The process of making these bird cages is still mainly done by hand. The manufacturing process includes: First creating small round bamboo sticks with the help of machinery, next bending these small bamboo sticks into the shape of a birdcage, next creating the structural components on the frame of a birdcage, and finally assembling into a complete birdcage.
