MindCub3r is Robot made of Lego witch solves a Rubik’s cube, using a combination of Lego Technic and Lego Mindstorms EV3.

With the use of colour sensors every one of the 64 squares are scanned for location and colour, then the EV3 brick the brains or the processing power calculates a complex algorithm to solve the cube.
Then the robot uses motors and gears to rotate, flip, twist and solve the cube.

Not quite fast enough to beat the Guinness world record, but instructions are on line and all the Lego parts can be brought in the one set.
